Service Description

Create your own winter gnome. Learn the technique of working with slabs and create a cute little gnome for your decorations or gifting! Each participant will receive a prepped slab of clay and a template to create their gnome. Participants will learn how to inlay textures and patterns to adorn the hats. Finished fired size of the gnomes will vary, but will generally be about 6 inches in height. This workshop is best suited for all levels of experience including beginners. Adults required to assist children ages 7 and under. Cost includes all materials, firing, and Level 1 glazing. Please bring a towel to wipe hands and any accessories/apparel. Food is not permitted in River Ceramics Studio. Drinks with closed lids are allowed. Projects will be ready for glazing 2-3 weeks post workshop. An email with a link to book your glazing time will be sent as soon as projects are out of the kiln.

Cancellation Policy

Please review our rescheduling/cancellation policies before booking. We have these policies in place to provide proper support to the employee(s) and artist(s) booked specifically for your event along with the fact that another customer may have wished to book this event if the space/time was available. We are a small business aiming to provide the best service possible to our guests, patrons, and studio members. To receive a full refund or the option for free rescheduling, the studio must be notified at least 5 days prior to the event date. Any refund offered may be subject to a 4% processing fee. Any time period less than 5 days but more than 2 days prior to the event will result in a rescheduling/cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of your workshop or event. We do not allow rescheduling within 48 hours of the class and no refunds will be offered for cancellations.
