What does my workshop include?
The cost of a workshop at River Ceramics includes use of all tools and materials, full instruction and guidance throughout the duration of your workshop, choice of a single color glaze for your piece, and two rounds of firing your work (bisque and glaze).

 

How do I glaze my pottery?

At the completion of a workshop, guests may select a glaze from our options of Level 1 glazes. A staff member at River Ceramics will glaze your piece for you! We will then notify you via email when your piece is ready to be picked up. 

 

What if I want to glaze my pottery myself?

Guests may book a glazing appointment for $10 if they'd like to come in and glaze their piece themselves. At the end of the workshop, simply mark off that you'd like to glaze your work yourself, write down the best contact email, and wait for an email notification that your piece is ready for glazing! Click the link in the email to book any available time slot.

 

How long until my pottery is ready for pick up?

Projects are typically ready for pickup 4 weeks post workshop. We will send an email notifying you when your pottery is ready!

What is the Cancellation Policy at River Ceramics?
Please review our rescheduling/cancellation policies before booking. We have these policies in place to provide proper support to the employee(s) and artist(s) booked specifically for your event along with the fact that another customer may have wished to book this event if the space/time was available. We are a small business aiming to provide the best service possible to our guests, patrons, and studio members. Thank you for your understanding!

 

To receive a full refund or the option for free rescheduling, the studio must be notified at least 5 days prior to the event date. (Ex. Sam emails on January 10th to cancel their $40 workshop registration scheduled for January 17th. Sam receives a full $40 refund or a $40 credit towards a different workshop.)

 

Any time period less than 5 days but more than 2 days prior to the event will result in a rescheduling/cancellation fee equal to  50%  of the cost of your workshop or event. (Ex. Sam emails on January 14th to cancel/reschedule their $40 workshop registration. Sam is charged an additional $20 to cover the cancellation/rescheduling fee.)

 

We do not allow rescheduling within 48 hours of the class and no refunds will be offered for cancellations. (Ex. Sam emails on January 15th to cancel their $40 workshop scheduled for January 17th. Sam receives no refund.)
