Zoo Plates

Welcome to the jungle! Join our wild clay safari with Brooke to make a one of a kind animal plate at River Ceramics. Participants will be given a prepped clay slab shaped to a basic 8" plate that they can decorate to their liking. Bring your plate to life by transforming it into your favorite animal. Once complete, plates can be used for snacking and/or decoration (food safe quality is dependent upon plate design/texture/final glaze application). 

Instructions and guidance will be provided throughout the duration of the workshop covering how to add embellishments and designs, create surface texture, and more. This workshop is designed for all experience levels and is recommended for ages 9+. Workshop cost includes materials, firing, and up to three glaze colors of your choice. Projects will be ready for glazing 2-3 weeks post workshop. An email with a link to book your glazing time will be sent as soon as projects are out of the kiln.

Food is not permitted in River Ceramics Studio. Drinks with closed lids are allowed. Please bring a towel to wipe hands and any accessories/apparel.
